My wife and I went here for the first time Friday Nov 21, 2008 and I just have to tell you that the food was just not good. The fireplace was very nice, cozy, and warm. We ordered a french dip that had meat equivalent to "Steakums" and the au jus had no flavor at all. My wife took one bite and then only ate her french fries. I ordered the halibut and chips. The halibut was frozen, not fresh. Basically, the ingredients not being fresh were things we could have bought out of the freezer section of the local grocery store and fixed at home cheaper. With the Port of Olympia basically down the road from there, I was surprised that they don't serve fresh seafood. My wife has been to Ireland, and found the food nothing like any of the many cities she visited there. The food there was all fresh and delicious. We were very disappointed. Neither of us finished our food or ordered desssert and we certainly did not take our leftovers home. We figured we'd cut our losses and go home. Although our server was very nice, based on this experience, we won't be returning. We think you could do better.
O'Blarney's makes the very best hot wings on the west coast. We don't get up there as often as we'd like (roughly 100 miles) but always stop there when we can. Great beer, great food--especially those hot wings!
Excellent! Finally a real sports bar. How can you call yourself a sports bar and not show UFC fights. (Frankies) Thank you O Blarneys. You Rock!
