Our ancient forced-air gas furnace died on us several weeks ago, and, since we were pleased with the level of customer service that Tim and Jim had provided while maintaining that system, we were confident that choosing Black Hills to upgrade to a new system was the best choice. We are also appreciative for LeeAnn's cheerful, positive attitude and patience when dealing with my frantic calls when our old system failed. We recently purchaed a Fujitsu ductless mini-split that was mounted in our living room. Before deciding on that system, Jesse was very helpful in laying out our options and describing the pros and cons of each. We didn't feel any pressure to go one way or another, and that is always refreshing. He was also very thoughtful and brought us a space heater while we waited for the delivery of the unit. On our installation day, Charles was right on time and was set up in minutes. He approached the job with competence and confidence, which was reassuring when the work involves drilling a hole in our home! Roy arrived shortly thereafter, and the two of them worked well together, each fully knowing what the other was doing and timing everything so that neither one of them was ever waiting around to continue. It seemed like a well-orchestrated event. Both Roy and Charles were very open to answering questions and incorporating requests that I had into their plan. Roy didn't hesitate to dive into the crawl space when I requested that the wiring go under the house instead of around it. Charles even stayed after finishing the installation to remove our old system even when it wasn't part of his work order. That was really above and beyond! Our Heat Pump stopped working so I called Black Hills, Inc. The office staff was very friendly. The Technician that came to my home was respectful and knowlegable he found the problem and was able to fix it on the spot.
