I lived in New York City for 14 years where they are the mecca of Pizza. I call myself a Pizza enthusiast. While Vancouver Pizza is a different kind of pizza than classical NY Pizza and is different also than the Pizza Hut type chains, this VERY GOOD Pizza. The Best Pizza in the Portland Vancouver area and probably more tasty than any pizza I have had in my life. You would not believe unless you tried it but their Vegetarian Pizzas are VERY VERY good and they are healthy. They use modest amounts of cheese yes have great flavors.
I'm from the east coast and I have yet to find a "good" pizza restaurant here in Vancouver. Sorry.....I'm not into Yuppified pizza! It's pretty bad when I'd rather eat at Domino's or Papa Johns! Prices are sky high and the quality isn't there. Where's the establishments that started in the 40's and 50's? Sorry......the 60's and beyond don't cut it.......I hate the chain pizza places, but they're closer to "real" pizza then anything here. Ah the good old days of "Mom and Pop" pizza shops........Give me that old school FATTENING pizza anyday!
Great pizza and really friendly staff. I'm new to the area and I picked this place because the reviews looked promising and I wasn't disappointed.
