User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsEverything about this rental company is aweful from the associates themselves to the property they rent and manage. They don't accept sect. 8 which many people rely on so they can live in this god-forsaken town and most of their properties should be condemned! They prefere renting to drunks and dope dealers and are all too happy to turn down a decent, hard working family. This company should be disbanned.
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsYou want to be very careful in what rental property you choose to rent from this company. We rented one property and had no problem with them, except they sold the property and asked us to move out and still made us clean the place spotless even though it was to be remodeled anyway. In our next place they wouldn't take care of rodents that had made their home under our sidewalk, it took them nearly 2 months to get us a key to our garage, and on the first big rain of fall our basement flooded and they said they would send a cleaner over but they wouldn't fix it because it was too costly. And then they raised our rent. I've talked to several people since then and every single one had told me that I should have rented from someone else....I agree now.

I've rented from Herring for 3 years now and have nothing but a pleasant experience with them. You have to expect rents to be raised, especially with how much the cost of living is now. I would'nt expect them to come and pull rats out of the sidewalk in front of my house. You remove one and 10 come back. That's nature, not neglectful landlords. Plus they dont own all of their properties. They are the in between, hired to do their job by the owners.
