My wonderful boyfriend took me here for my 26th birthday. It could not have been better. The dinning area was very cozy and the service was above and beyond. The food was spectacular. And the prices I think were very reasonable especially because the food was out of this world. If you are ever in Long Beach treat yourself to a dinning experience you will never forget.

Somehow at our staff meeting in Seattle we got on the subject of the Depot. We rated it outstanding. I can't waite to take my husband for his birthday on Dec 12. Yes we make the drive for the Depot and a walk on the beach.

Wow, couldn't disagree more with the previous writer! This is the best restaurant at the coast and yes, it is a fine dining restaurant, which is why I go out. I can make a burger at home. But, they do have burgers, and the best and most fun night of a winter week on Wednesdays. You build your own buffalo, portobello or beef buger with lots of condiments including bacon and eggs, and sweet potato fries but they don't offer it in the summer. Ask for the Chef's Table and be treated to an appetizer and watch the owner create his great food. The chowder is the best anywhere, the calamari is so good and I loved the exotic wild boar chops I had. The service is great and the atmosphere is a place to celebrate.
