User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsnot very good pizza cheap mushrooms not very big decent priced I am sure the blutos staff is great but to me the pizza was just ok not special or great. although it still could possibly be the best pizza place on the peninsula doesn't mean it is great pizza.

Every summer we go to Blutos and are never disappointed. Delicious thin crust, mouthwatering fillings - the meatball calzone is incredible. Recommend any/all calzones and pizzas here. Good beer selection and terrific service, too.

Bluto is the best. My husband and I pick up "pies" at least 3-4 times a week. The sauce is the best, and his calzones are amazing. Talk about huge! Enough for 2 eaters. And the prices are very fair.
I gotta admit, as much as I hassle him, he and his crew are great.
Always expect some comedy, a magic trick, or some sort of goofing. Bluto has fun while he runs his pizza parlor. I get mad at him on Monday and Tuesday ('cuz he's closed) :)
If you are ever in Long Beach or on the peninsula, this is the only real pizza in the area. Don't waste your time at the imitations, get the best pizza around from Bluto's.
