The Best!: We can not even consider eating pizza from anywhere else. Everything pales in comparison! The owner makes his own pizza dough daily and uses the best ingredients. My stomach has issues with overly processed foods, but has no problems with Hometowns pizza.

Hands down, tasty hot pizza the way it should be. The best ever.

Hometown Pizza - The Best in Ephrata - by Far: I am a pizza fanatic. I love the stuff. I've eaten pizza all over the world, including in the very town where it was invented...Naples, Italy.

Obviously, I am fussy about the kind of pizza I eat. And so when Hometown Pizza first opened up a couple of years ago, Susan and I had to give it a try. And guess what? It was some of the best pizza I have ever tasted!!

They use the "deep dish" method, rather than the "ising crust"method. The portions used in the pizza are very generous and quite tastey. My personal favorite is the Sicilian, which features, sausage, salami, meatballs, and tomatoes. I also have them throw on some olives, so it comes out just the way I like it.

When you eat in the restaurant, the dining area is somewhat small, but definitely clean. The service is impeccable and fast. When you order takout, the wait time is very reasonable.

If I have any gripes, it is the fact that they don't deliver and they are closed on Monday, which means of course I can't get one of their pizzas for Monday Night Football. But when they are open, their pizzas are some of the best I ever tasted.
