I tried this little restaurant while I was in town and regretted it. The decor was rather over the top, bordering on small town kitsch gone berserk. Smart alack signs about bad service aren't something you should be proud of for heaven's sake, especially when it rings true. For the food, I can say the pizza was over-sauced and relied heavily on the garlic. Not near enough cheese to make it a pizza, more like bread and sauce where the order of the day. And the price makes a store-bought frozen pizza far more appetizing (with more toppings as well). The service was spastic, with a waitress that buzzed about with a high-energy grating attitude not well suited to their attempted atmosphere.

It's not just pizza anymore: Hometown Pizza has it all; fresh salad, wonderful ice cream, home made chocolates, local brewed beer, and the best food around. The quality is superb.
