I have been to a lot of restaurants from Seattle to California to Arizona, but I must say that Whistlers Family Restaurant is one of the better ones. The food comes out hot and you get free refills on the pop, ice tea, & coffee. Alot of other places make you pay for a second cup. It is a very warm and homey type of place with staff and customers making you feel at home and welcome. The soups are all made from scratch and their prime rib is very good. I would recommend this place to eat to anyone. They also have a drive up window so you can get something to go if you are in a hurry. The Caesar salad with chicken is one of the best I have ever tasted. I will order it again when I am back in town. Thanks to the Whistler staff and owners for the great food and service.
We had a really horrific experience in this place, which is saying a lot, as we are usually very roll-with-the-punches kind of folk - and generous tippers as well. Not this time though. The comedy of errors was so extreme and beyond the pale, we will never, ever set foot in that place again. Anybody can make a mistake, we know! - but the way the errors were implied to be our fault, the unprofessional excuses that were made, and the general poor treatment we received, including one of us having to leave hungry, her dinner never having arrived at all - it was truly unbelievable, and we won't risk having that happen again. No excuse for any management that would allow such treatment of any customer! Our recommendation is to keep on going, or visit the gas station next door ( as I had to do, in order to actually get some food) - you know what you are getting there, the prices are way more reasonable, the service is much friendlier and more professional.
Beautiful resturant with good food, and excellent waitresses. Comfortable atmosphere.

It would have been more acceptable if the customer would have provided details on the actual occurance so the owner/manager (who had no knowledge of the stated problem) so the business owner could correct the problem rather than snotty people writing reviews that pollute the internet with bad vibes. You certainly deserve better, but do you think the expense of another business because of your comments is really fair. If you were in the owner's situation, what would you do?
I agree. If someone has a problem with service at an extablishment, then they should speak with the owner. Instead of hiding behind a made up name and leaving negative reports on the internet for everyone to read, without first addressing the issues at hand with the owner.
