Went in on 8-5-08 for dinner with a friend ordered chicken satay for an appetizer. It was about 1/2 of a chicken breast for 7.00. Tasty but small portion. I got a tai iced tea very good. My friend got the chicken pad tai it was also decent. I made the poor choice of ordering the crispy duck, 16.00. the duck was so over cooked it was close to jerky in texture, the vegetables that came with the dish(carrots and broccoli) were ice cold. Tte owner(Lady) offered to reheat or bring me ranch for the vegetables but made no effort to discuss the poorly cooked duck. After pushing the dish off to the side and not eating any of it we finally get the bill with the duck on it. While i tried to politely tell her i wasn't going to pay for such a poor meal she harranged me for not being a local and that none of her regular customers would refuse to pay for a portion of the meal. after pointing out that the dish was so bad i didn't eat any of it that it wasn't the same as eating the whole dish and then saying it was bad. Well she finally agreed not to charge me for the the duck but told me not to never come back. The rest of the bill was close to 30.00 and I still left a good tip for the server. A simple " can i bring you something else would have saved a bad review and she said she didnt care if I told others about the poor food.
So beware. marginal food in a small town with big city prices.
It's okay: It was just okay for us. The food seems like it is cooked well, but I don't think the herbs and peppers that I like in Thai food was present. It was reminiscent of Thai food.
The best Thai food!: I first tried Thai food in Seattle and I really liked it and ate at many different places. When I moved to Wenatchee, I tried the one and only Thai restaraunt here, and I will say that the food and service is way better than any place in Seattle that I tried. The hostesses and waitresses are very sweet and helpful, never a bother. A unique building shaped to the culture, cool pictures on the walls. I would recommend this place to everyone!! Limited hours though, check if they're open before you go.
