If any fast food restaurant ever deserved a 5 star rating, this one does. Whenever I travel to or through Moses Lake, WA I make a point of stopping there to eat. The food is always fresh and the ice cream products are made with care and attention to proper ingredients and amounts. The service is friendly and quick. The employees take the orders out to the tables for the customers, a nice touch you won't see at McDonald's or Burger King. The location has recently been converted to a DQ Grill & Chill but the policy of bringing the orders out to the customer has been in place for more than 10 years, long before the Grill & Chill concept was even conceived.

The owners are there every day to make sure the place stays clean and everything runs smoothly. The employees obviously take pride in working there and it shows in their attitude. I have been to other fast food restaurants where you could tell by the demeanor of the employees that they did not enjoy their jobs and couldn't wait till their shift was over.

The Moses Lake Dairy Queen is kept as clean as possible and the bathrooms are a great example for that, you will not find any toiletpaper on the floor or a dirty toilet or sink. The toilets are automatic flush toilets and the faucet and the paper towel dispenser are sensor operated as well. Everything is being checked often and soap and paper products are restocked if needed.

Whenever there is a spill it is promptly cleaned up and warning signs are put up if the floor has just been mopped and is still slippery. You can tell that the couple who owns this franchise view their restaurant as more than just a business. The owners spend a great deal of time there and often go around the dining room talking to customers, making sure everything is alright.

The building inside and out, the equipment, the dining room furniture, flooring, everything looks very nice and is being well maintained. I have seen that place remodeled several times over the past 10 years, eventhough it didn't even look like it really needed it.

This particular DQ restaurant which definitely stands out from other locations, I wish they were all like this.
