Teriyaki Express

I stumbled across a small restaurant in Sunnyside next to Walmart called Teriyaki Express.....The name is decieving ......The "express" has nothing to do with the quality of the food ,just the speed in which they bring you a slice of heaven!!! When I walked in I really didn't expect to be given such a wonderful meal with such great service. They have an extensive menu and I must say I ordered from pretty much every catagory they had and not one item was anywhere close to a disappointment! The Wonton soup was rather good and full of fresh wontons and veggies. The plate of veggie tempura was really big and very well prepared with a fresh and wonderful flavor with a tempura sauce that beat all tempura sauces in my past! The teriyaki Chicken was tender and flavorful with "real " flavors ,not one sign of too much salt nor too much ginger, as I have found in other restaurants to make up for the quality and flavor lacking in their foods. The egg rolls were to die for with fresh chicken and veggie fillings and a really beautifully created "white" sweet and sour sauce. The potstickers were a bit small but very well made and full of flavor! The stand out for me was something I was blown away by....This restaurant has somehow tapped into the universe and has created the PERFECT FRIED RICE!!!!!! The BBQ pork fried rice was the utmost pleasurable pallate sensation of possibly my whole career as a self proclaimed taste tester and food blogger ! The flavors were warm and real , sultry if you will. An absolute mouth journey to heaven Full of BBQ pork in perfectly cooked pieces , nothing rubbery or slimy, or greasy ,freshnes screamed from this plate....My mouth is still watering and a little sad that I dont have some in front of me right this very moment! Another wonderful thing about this Gem is that you can actually hear them preparing your food...It made everything even more tempting with every swish of the wok that I heard!!! I can honestly say that this is a "DO NOT MISS" place to bring your friends and family ...shout it on the mountaintops ...alas .....a worthy restaurant has found its way into a small town......You will adore the food and the owners...... Hmmmm.....Maybe I should erase this whole thing and keep them to my self!!! Tell them "Elli sent you" and that you read this review and you will make their day like they are getting ready to make yours with their wonderous foods that I truly believe are made with love straight from their hearts!!!
