I've had bad experiences with this company-- at two different locattions--and in each case they tried to sell my young daughter flagerantly unnecesary services; so bogus that they fall into the criminal. We complained to Alton himself and received a very cavalier answer--he said they occasionally have a bad (dishonest) employee, but they "never last very long." (Wow, I'm grateful for that!)
The problem with these kind of operations is that you think you're dealling with a mechanic, but you're actually dealing with a commission salesman--and in this case commission salesman of the worst kind. This is the type of company that ends up on 60 minutes, or at least should!)

We're all better off dealing with Les Scwab or Discount Tires (and I'm sure there's others) that are straight, honest people, not on commision, and hence not as tempted to cheat you (or your niave, unsuspecting daughters!)
