User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsWe have been to Rancho Viejo many times over the years, but our recent visit was not a happy one. My husband ordered #17 Chili relleno, tamale, and enchilada, however, when it arrived it did not have the tamale. The chicken in the enchilada was tasteless and had about as much character as cardboard. I order the Enchilada Jarocha it had the taste of old fish and it was to have had green sauce (tomatillo) on it, oops! must have forgot that too. We were seated at a broken out window that had been covered with plastic and very drafty (2/14/09). Needless to say we won't be going back...ever!
User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWe live in Spokane and have eaten here many many times. Just recently my husband and I ate there and my husband got a SEVERE case of salmonella poisioning. He is currently in the hospital and he had such a severe case and becamse so dehydrated that he got a blood clot in his heart. He is a very healthy person and salmonella can be deadly stay away!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsWe spent an extended amount of time in Spokane and quickly decided we needed to try some local resturants. We stumbled upon Rancho Viejo one night while driving and what a pleasant suprise it turned out to be. Being from California, we know mexican food. Turns out spokane has a gem right there in the valley. We went for lunch and dinner, and found the food great, service good, and orders arrived fast and fresh. Margarita's ..Yes please! Be sure and try one. Huevos Rancheros, excellent anytime of day.
We will return next time we are in town.
