User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe were lucky enough to get in on the $50.00 deal for $25.00. It wasn't untill the day we planned for a short day trip that I checked the reviews. They were 2 yrs. old. and not good. Turns out We were the lucky ones to get such a fantastic meal at such a fantastic price. The owner greeted us and seated us. The food was as described. After our meal we told the server about the bad reviews and we were told their meatloaf is a favorite and I was afraid to order it,I missed out but I know what I'll order next time. Hubby had the full rack of ribs said "They were better than the ones offered at the place we passed on our way here" Thank you Rusty Moose.

My friends and I recently visited the Rusty Moose and we had such a good time. The menu offered something for all of us and the service was great. The restaurant and the ambiance was unmatched and we look forward to our next visit.

A little while ago Prospectors was changed to the Rusty Moose. The food is a bit pretentious, if I do say so myself. When it was Prospectors the food was pretty good, and the price was not bad. It seems as though the Rusty Moose is trying to serve their customers "fine dining." The food they serve, and the price are way different from Prospectors. I don't see myself coming back any time soon, but if you want to pay a lot of money for food that sounds pretty blah, then have it!

Their sirloin, USDA Prime, was perfectly cooked. I'm happy to see someone serve a prime steak that is within my budget. Our children delighted in the ambiance and have requested that we return.
