i really don't know what the other reviewers are eating... this place is pedestrian... totally pedestrian food. burgers? okay. fries? okay. shakes? okay. i visited this highly rated place, yesterday. wow! 18$ dollars later for 3 burgers, 1 large fries, a couple of shakes, and here i am writing this lousy review. helping me is the fat, uninterested, front counter girl. sorry that she's 50+ something and loving her life as a loser, but people do expect a little courtesy. sorry her life has lead her to her high calling of working at the Thrifty Scotchman... i'm sitting here eating a huge, delicious, Carl's JR burger, which is similar in price. you all do the math... jbar...
I was in Spokane Valley this past May to visit my parents and we stumbled unto this gem of gem. What a delight. The food is great, the prices are great and the service is great. What more can you ask for. Our food was fresh, hot and plentiful.
The only disapointment I had is that they don't have a branch where I live in IOWA! Can't wait to go visit my folks again so I can go back.
Obscene amounts of food for not a lot of money: It doesn't matter what you order, you won't leave hungry. Not only do you get a lot for your dollar, you also get food, like the fries & onion rings, that is fresh & not frozen.
The biggest challenge for us when we eat there is narrowing down our choices. Too many inviting possibilities on the menu! One must choose carefully or else lots of unfinished food may be left on the table.
A perfect choice for teenagers with insatiable appetites, and also for older folks with real contempt for a healthy cardiovascular system!
