what spokane needs is another organic market to give huckleberry's some competition, they are way overpriced because they are the only store like that in spokane. furthermore, almost half of the ingredients including eggs, cheese,and breads that are used in the bistro are NOT organic even though that's what you're paying for. most of the stuff in the grocery store comes from URM, which is where all the other generic food is coming from. you're not really helping small businesses and local farmers when you shop at huckleberry's. they're also not very good to their employees, one guy tried to get everyone to go on strike for holiday pay and what not, and they called him to the office and said they would fire him if he ever tried to start anything like that. please someone DO something about this. open up another organic market, throw in some competition!!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsHuckleberry's is my favorite store! All natural and organic foods and bath and beauty products, all at reasonable prices! The deli is amazing too! You'll find all kinds of great stuff here, don't miss it!

lol that guy you are referring to is me!! Hello my name is steve and I worked for rosauers supermarkets for several year..yes it is true I tryed to get the employees at huckleberrys to go union and yes I was threatened, but not from huckleberry's but from the rosauers corp. and was done in a manner of accusing me of things I did not due. three month later I was promoted to a rosuaers store within the union. by the way huckleberrys is a rosauers store and rosuaers used to be employee owned, and was bought by urm!! so you could say they are all urm stores. I helped re-opening of the rosauers store on 29th and 2 month later was let go with no reason. As for huckleberry's not treating there employees fairly I would say They treat them awesomely, if you not trying to make them go union. p.s. all rosauers stores are union and huckleberry's is the only store that is non-union.
