I have had my son at four daycare centers in town and we have had some very bad experiences that have made him scared of daycare providers. When I brought him to Klever Kids I was at the end of my rope and considering getting a nanny (and nanny cam) to keep him safe and happy. When I met the owner and the caregivers for my son’s age I was impressed that they were all adults and understanding of the needs for a child of his age. Tracy who has owned the daycare for 8 years and worked there for 13 is easy to talk to and a loving caregiver keeps me updated on how my son is doing and he has not had any problems since he has been attending the school. He runs to Miss Pam every morning and gives her a hug and he has learned a lot in the last few months and I am confidant that the will be prepared for Kindergarten when he is 5 next year and I am grateful that there is finally a safe, caring environment for my son to learn and grow in.

Could be better, could be lots worse: Overall an okay daycare, but I frequently saw providers feeding infants with their fingers, and then going right to the next infant to feed them. Definite concerns about infrequent handwashing. Also, staff talks about their boyfriends and personal issues around the children. Otherwise, I felt like the staff cared about the kids and most of them seemed to genuinely like children. Much better than many other choices in Anchorage.
