this place was horrible.when we go there there was a bum or something just wondering around.the lobby smelled, the rooms smelled like smoke, there were holes in the floor, and there were hardly any light bulbs in the rooms, the fire alarms went off twice.as soon as we checked in the lady asked us if we saw the pictures on there web site.when we said yes,she denied thzt the site was theres.but the address on the site matches there's.this is a last resort hotel
We were moving and looking for short-term housing that accepted pets. This place was a dump!!! There were burn holes in the bedspreads, no phone and the lights are very dim. (not what you want in the middle of winter in Alaska) We paid for internet and it seldom worked. I agree with the earlier posts about it is being used as low income housing. There were a couple of police visits to lodge "guests" in the four days we were there.l We had paid for one month and we did not even get the two bedroom we were promises. We got out, as soon as we found another location to move. It is cheaper than most, in the Anchorage area, but you get what you pay for!
Not what they advertise: This place was like a dirty low income apartment. We took one look at the filthy carpeting, and cheap furniture and walked out the door. There were young men standing on the balconies drinking and I doubt that they were tourist. I think that they lived here. After talking to others in the area I believe that this hotel is mainly used for low income housing. The parking area was very poorly lit, with beer bottles littering the grounds and a couple of drunken people grouping each other. We didn't feel safe enough to spend one night here, we thought that we would robbed. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
