I adore the food here, for the most part. Skip the Teriyaki sandwich and a couple of other items and you're all set. The house salad dressing used to have more zing, but it's still great - made with beer crafted in-house. You must try the pizzas, the black bean salad (I try to make it at home and I never can get it quite right!), and the potato soup. I'm not much of a beer drinker, but if I were to drink a beer, The Atomic is where I'd be found!

However, there are a few factors that keep The Atomic from getting the whole five stars. One is that it's horribly crowded because it's SO small! The noise level on a Friday evening is awful, and often people who bring their children in let them run wild. Another big factor is the lack of parking. The Atomic shares a tiny lot with the Mandarin House and people often take up two spaces. Do yourself a favour - go on a Monday or Tuesday night when it's not so busy! But go often!

Good ale and pub fare: A variety of tasty ales, best in the TriCities. The pub fare is good, esp. bratwurst and pizza. They even have pizza with some kick from hot peppers. Gets pretty crowded after work.

Some of the best pizza in the TriCities: Atomic Ale has some of the best pizzas in the TriCities and very good micro-brew beer. They also have a lot of Hanford related stuff, which is the theme of their brewpub. It is one of our favorite places to go in the TriCities.
