Family Owned: I am formerly from Alaska and I may be a bit proud to say that my sister and her husband own Colony Kitchen. No matter how many years it is in between my visits back up to Alaska, when I go to the cafe the wait staff is pretty much the same and they remember me. It is always a nice reminder of the good days I had living in Alaska and seeing some of the local people that remember me. Every time I hear of someone going up to Alaska to visit, I tell them to stop in and tell my sister hi. I can't imagine anyone ever being sorry they stopped in at Colony Kitchen.

Where Small Town Meets Good Food: What better word for "Colony Kitchen" is there except for superb? The food here is absolutely delectable, the desserts are smooth and rich, and they have quite the friendly service. You can meet new people, hang out with your family and friends, or just enjoy a peaceful time alone. All of the decorations are related to hunting and fishing; the perfect theme for Palmer citizens to enjoy. I will certainly enjoy going there again!
