Sears Imported Autos

I was treated very badly, when I went to buy a used BMW. I had the money to write a check right then and there. (I'm a female) I was treated so poorly by the sales man out on the lot. He was very rude, and said something about, we needed to be on the same page regarding what I was looking for. I had early said, I wanted a new BMW (I was driving my 3 year old Beamer at the time that he could plainly see) He said, "you tell me you want a new bmw,. but then you say you want a bmw that is 1 year or two old" Then went on to say, "Which is it" Even talked about checking with my husband before going further??? Many more statements that I don't even want to repeat. I went into garage area to get an oil change on the current BMW I was driving, and told the guy about the experience I had just had with the sales man. The guy changing my oil, said, My gosh that is not the way we treat our customers and I should make an appt to talk with the manager. When I got home I called and made an appt to speak with the manager. The next day, when I walked into the managers office. GUESS WHAT. That was the same person that was so rude the day before. I drove away, that afternoon, went to another dealership and bought a brand new car on the spot.
The manager, never even said he was sorry or admitted he had done wrong!! I have bought several new cars since this, and I would not go back to Sears BMW in Minnetonka

I GUESS IT SHOULD BE BAD EXPERIENCE AT BMW SEARS HOPKINS !! EITHER WAY, STILL BAD EXPERIENCE.

Only dealt with service, not sales, but Bill, the service manager was great. Even though my car (BMW X5) was out of warranty, they were able to get BMW to comp the majority of my repair on a known problem. Furthermore, they sent me up with a rental free of charge while they took a look. I've had good experiences with Motorwerks BMW as well, but the level of service at Sears exceeded my expectations.
