    Not Exactly Northwoods...: This restaurant has a great menu selection of sandwiches, burgers and wraps. The drink menu was also good. I like the openness of the place and it had a welcoming vibe. However, I would not refer to the ambiance as Up North, or Log Cabin-like, even if it is decorated like that. It was a pretty typical bar and restaurant. The Cheese Curds were heavenly and I heartily recommend them.

    Up North Feel: I loved the entire experience. Buffalo Tap has found it's nitche, the comfortable cabin atmosphere, servers with real personalities and awesome burgers help it to stand out from most other places to dine. The prices were great too.

    Good for the Money: The Buffalo Tap is a nice little place, with a nice looking interior and nice service. The menu is fairly simple, but the burgers and fries are good and reasonably priced. The service was exceptional as our waitress took our order immediately, checked on us several times and got our check ready as soon as we were ready to leave.

    This is a great place for a burger and a beer, and to catch a game on one of the TVs. Not a date setting, but a decent family outing as they have a game room with video games to keep the kids busy.

    The only downside I can think of is the limited parking space.
