About:With eight bars, two restaurants, a drag lounge, and three huge dance floors all under the same roof, it is no wonder this is considered the mega mall of gay bars. The complex draws huge crowds, both gay and straight, looking for a place to hang out and dance or listen to jazz, blues or rock. If you want to get a peek at the gay life in the Twin Cities, the '90's is the only place you need to visit. Although the crowd is mixed, be forewarned the Men's Room is the only strictly gay bar in the joint. The bouncers are big, the drinks are potent, the food is excellent and you will get your money's worth. The burgers are consistently rated as the best in town by many local publications. Any beverage you can think of is available here. If you are looking for a real experience, this is the place to go.

I use to go to the gay 90s back in 1995-2000 and it has changed....Now it is ghetto full of fights and drama also there are more straight people that go there then gay....I wouldnt tell anyone to go there it looks like a 70s strip bar time to remodel big time not just the inside the dumpy outside as well...I heard there the new owner making some changes but its alittle to late...

I've been going here for many years its always been a great place to be a part of the gay scene. I love the many options you have when going there you can listen to many types of music in a variety of rooms. I have never ate here before nor have I never heard anyone raving about it either. This is a place to party and have great fun with both gay and straight people. The drinks are potent as they are in most gay bars. The drag show is my favorite event when I go very entertaining. I stay away from the mens room not really for the younger gen. The R&B area attracts a largley straight and peaceful african american crowd. As far as the cleanliness goes well since coming here for the first time 2002 the management has let the place slowly go downhill. There is not really any visible sign that money is being put into the place the bathrooms are the best example of this stall doors missing ect. I really wish that someone woulkd take better care of the place but all in all if you've never been there you gotta go the pros out way the cons. As for so called claims of the place being unsafe the security there keeps a great watchful eye and if you report any problems they are delt with swiftly. Straight, Or Gay/Les/Bi/Trans everyones welcome!
