My friend and I stopped at the St. Michael McDonalds tonite for a quick hamburger and coffee. I hesitated stopping there as it always seems, the service is questionable.
As we waited an unusually long time for two simple Hamburger Happy Meals, which were hardly warm, and at nearly 8 o'clock, the place was nearly deserted...
We witnessed a teen aged employee, who evidently was not too proud of his job, throw a half dozen plastic wrapped packages of cups on the floor. He then proceeded to pick each one up, tear off the plastic and put them in a lower cabinet. After finishing that chore, which he was not too thrilled about doing, he kicked the doors of the cabinet shut with the bottom of his shoe... Both my friend and I pondered out loud, if this was sanitary, a lady standing next to us, commented, at this "one" its best to go thru the Drive thru, then you don't see the attitude here. There seemed to be no adult supervision that we could see, yes, everyone was in the "McDonalds" uniform, one fellow had only part of his shirt tucked in, hardly warm food, unsanitary handling of the cups, poor attitude, I'll go on to another fast food chain from now on, I've learned my lesson!
