I purchased a used vehicle from here in August. It was in nice shape and 127K. I took it for a short test drive and decided to buy it. I discussed lemon cars with my sales rep and he said that if something major were to happen the dealer would make it right. The same day I drove the car off the lot the ABS and BRAKE glowing lights are on.. they pop on and off, but are more often on almost all the time. After the weekend I brought the vehicle back to Shakopee Chev and they said the ABS breaks don't work.. and the bill is on me for $956. The Owner "George" told me it would be illegal for him to fix my vehicle because I bought it "as is". He also said that the brakes will still work fine, and that its common for older cars to be without this feature. I contacted the attorney general and Shakopee Chev send back my signature and a "as is" buyers document. I am so disappointed I will never shop there, I will tell anyone I know who car shops.. and I recommend anyone who reads this to be aware of my incident. George is not honest. I bought a Chevy on a Chevy lot?? and they didn't know? and refuses to make it right. I slammed on the brakes on pavement, to test, and the rear of the truck kicks out. I will be thinking of you when it kicks out in the winter and kills someone. Thanks George who sells damaged goods.
