Eddie's has been around forever. My siblings and I have taken our repairs to him forever as well. I didn't know until recently that he went to school with a couple of my brothers and sister. His prices are way way below any dealer and never have problems the next day (unlike dealers). I've gone in there to have simple things like remove a stuck bolt on an alternator I was replacing myself. He never charges for stupid stuff and takes time out from repairing to do it. ONE MAJOR PROBLEM WITH EDDIES.... HE GETS BACKED UP FOR 1-2 WEEKS BECAUSE EVERYONE USES HIM! Sheeeesh! They are always busy. Now you know why.
Selfishness urges me to keep Eddie's Auto and Marine a secret. The fact that he only has 4 reviews on here compels me to add another positive one to the list. Simply stated, Eddie's Auto and Marine deserves your business. Bluntly stated, you are an idiot if you take your vehicle anywhere else to be repaired
Chivalrous, Polite, Accessible, Loyal, Judicious: After many anguish filled years spent wandering in the desert of auto mechanic goons and plunderers, fate turned a favorable eye on me by affording the good fortune of discovering Eddies Auto and Marine Repair in Mound. Eddie and his group of curtious professionals treat you as if your business is invaluable. Hands down, the establishment is nothing short of a gold standard. The exemplary customer service is coupled by the owners refusal to charge fees that are anything other than megar. In fact the one downfall of bringing your business to Eddie is that you will likely experience unsettling pangs of guilt as your settling up with him on his often unsettlingly nominal estimates.
For those of you (like me) who take your role as a citizen/consumer seriously, Eddie is salt of the earth. He is a leader in his community, a fireman, and an all around knightly kind of guy. Your hard earned dollars will be well spent here by promoting what seems at times to be the woefully lost art of public service.
If I had a mountain top to stand on, I would shout it out loud and proud
this little gem of a garage is indeed both the finest and rarist of treasures.
