User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWorld Class Museum: Sometimes it seems like we get so accustomed to our surroundings, we forget just how good we have it in Minneapolis. I've been a frequent visitor to the MIA for over 20 years, but it took a trip to LACMA (Los Angeles' museum) to jolt me back into "appreciation mode." The exhibits are world class, the building is lovely (although I wish they would open the giant entrance doors on 24th all year), and the special exhibits just get better and better.
The Christmas displays are gorgeous, and let's not forget Art in Bloom each spring. Don't miss it!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI love this place!: The museum is huge. It has art from every era and culture. I love the peaceful atmosphere. The museum store is fabulous! I've been visiting since I was a very small child. It's one of my favorite places to go!

A Great Experience: The exhibits were just amazing ranging from ancient Chinese to modern art. I would rate this museum to the caliber to the Getty Musuem, Norton Simon, and LA County of Southern California.
