| About: | Established in 1956, this family business has been a landmark in the area around the University of Minnesota called Dinkytown. The surroundings are a bit plain, but the food will make you feel like you are in grandma's kitchen (if your grandma was from Italy!). Recipes brought over from Italy and perfected here are still handmade, from the many kinds of pasta (ravioli, fettuccine, cannelloni) to the meat sauce and salad dressing. You will also find pizza and many chicken items on the menu. Beer and wine are served. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis place is great,food is always spot on and you can drink some great Italian wine.atmosepher is simple but the rest makes up for it.I had the lasagna It was great,I was there for the wine,My friend had the veal and he cleaned his plate so I'm thinking he liked it.Our dessert were on the house for some reason, still not shure why
mabey they thought our food was taking a long time,we did not notice so I had blueberry cheesecake the berries
were baked in not dumped on top..loved it .My friend had a huge pice of carrot cake.This place is not romantic in anyway,It's old school Italian food and wine quality service and when you take your first bit of there food the lack of fancy decor will be easly overlooked
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWe always have spectacular service and food: We just love to go to Vescio's for dinner because we know that the food is always fantastic. They always make us feel at home and we can either dress up or wear jeans. It is a great place to go for any occasion.
