Went for Sunday brunch. I was overly not impressed with the service, especially the bartenders. We were waiting for others in our group to arrive so we sat at the bar and figured we'd have a beer. Waited for over 5 minutes before we could get their attention. It may not seem like a long time but since I've have been in the food service industry that is unacceptable. It's a small bar but the bartenders they had working were more into the conversations they were having amongst themselves than waiting on customers. There were very few customers when we were there so it's not about them running their behinds off. Trust me, if that was the case then I don't have a problem waiting. The food was alright. Nothing special. One of our parties food didn't come out with the rest of the order. They just told us when we got ours that it was on it's way. It finally came about 10 minutes later. They did comp it but when we got the bill we had been charged. We brought it to the attention of our server who said it was taken off (we showed her the bill and it was not). She came back with another bill and said she had given us the wrong one. Maybe it was just a bad day (it was not busy when we were there) so I will give it another chance.
BEST place for breakfast in Minneapolis. Some kinks in the beginning opening up their new location, but totally worked out as far as I'm concerned. I was seated in some little side table by the kitchen, and once I read the painted wall above us we found out we get a free carmel pecan roll just for sitting in the "cheap seats". The whole thing was great, and the roll was just as delicious as it was at the old place
Best breakfast in town, but you need to make a reservation on the weekends! Definitely the best pancakes and I can't eat enough of the homemade peanut butter. GO HERE! You won't regret it.
