Yes we had to wait about an hour on a Sunday morning, yes we were crammed in behind the other diners along the wall behind the single row of stools at the counter, yes our feet were killing us by the time we finally got sat... But this place is worth the wait!
The couter guys are great, the cook's amazing, and the food is perfect diner breakfast. With ~12 seats they're constantly rearranging you to fit parties in, but that's half the fun. The other half is the sarcasm that goes on behind the bar. The third half is the absolutely perfect breakfast! We left stuffed!-

I donât know what to say about this institution near the UofM. Itâs been around for years, and probably will be for some time. The food gets to you in a decent time and is ok. You see it cooked in front of you just in case there is a concern. The guy who cooked ours, who Iâm guessing was Al, didnât have anything good to say to who he was talking to that morning. I dunno, it didnât feal like a place I would like to return to unless I had work on a construction site in the area and wanted a cheap breakfast every morning.
