This is a great independent coffee house. It's a cool old house turned into a coffee house. They make excellent chai and coffee, as well as desserts. I enjoy the music, the candlelit atmosphere, and the friendly staff. It's good for meeting friends, lovers, whatever.

Worst place ever: This place is the worst!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont give this man your hard earned $, the people are so rude and the product they serve are made from the cheapest stuff they can find, they have a "bouncer" who walks around making sure your drink is full, the place smells awful, it's ugly to so they keep it dark and call it romatic, and the owner thinks he's a gift from heaven or something, more like a raving lunitic. These people should not be in buisness you should not be allowed to treat people like they do. Please do your self a favor and stay clear of this place theres a reason is't called uncommon because it's not common service thats for sure.

Terrible review. You can tell by this persons comment that they have major issues going on in their life and they have flown off the handle. If you actually knew the owner you would know that he is one of the most generous, kindest men you will every meet. Never met a nicer person who has so much passion for what he does.

It's amazing how someone can have an opposite experience at the same place. I love this place--it's a beautiful old house turned into a great coffee house. It smells like coffee and chai, which is what I would expect. They make the best chai I've tasted. My husband and I met here 7 years ago, and we come back each year for our anniversary. I hope this place never goes out of business, because it has a great atmosphere and helpful staff.

Best Service Ever: I'm not a regular at this place, but I've been there several times both when it's busy and when it's not. The service here is amazing. One time I was almost $1 short. It was right before payday. The girl hadn't made the coffee for me yet and she could have cancelled the order, but she just took a dollar out of her tip jar and put it in teh register for me. Really comfortable place to go. Even some private little nooks that you can snuggle up in. Very nice.
