Convenient, Courteous and Inadequate...

I'm new in town and dropped off a cotton fabric-covered comforter at Pilgrim because it was convenient to where I live. I'd made the mistake of leaving a sweat-drenched hat on the comforter, with the resultant sweat ring quite visible on the fabric. Service was prompt and friendly, and the comforter was back from the plant just when it was promised. Unfortunately, it wasn't clean.

Yes, the comforter had obviously been run through Pilgrim's normal process, but the sweat ring was still clearly visible, so Pilgrim's normal cleaning process is inadequate for the removal of a fairly common stain on an easily-cleaned fabric.

Not knowing that the cleaning process had failed, the clerk gave me a senior discount, so it only cost me $23 and change, instead of $30 and change, to find out that Pilgrim is NOT a place I want to continue to patronize for dry cleaning. This was an easy job, and if they can't do the easy ones properly, I'm not going to give them anything else that might be challenging.

Honest people are still around.: We have always used the Pilgrim Cleaners in Brooklyn Center, but now we wouldn't think of going any where else. On Monday I had drop off my husbands suit. On tuesday he realized he left his money in his pocket. He has been off of work for over a year and losing the money was very upsetting to him. When we went to talk to the Danielle and her staff they had found the money and place it in the the safe. Thank you again.
