We chose this place based on little more than its location. What a great choice! The prices are reasonable, staff is competent, and the service was excellent. They were fairly busy when we were there, but the people seemed like regulars and the stylists did a great job of making sure everybody left happy. They meet the needs of a diverse clientele - men, women, and various nationalities of hair.

My son got a cut and color done by Stacie. She listened to what he wanted and knew the look he was going for. While his hair was being done, Jill trimmed my hair. Since she knew I was waiting for my son, she took extra time styling my hair for me.

I highly recommend Van Strand. In addition to doing their jobs well, they've mastered the vanishing art of outstanding customer service.

Love it, Nancy is the best!: I couldn't believe that I asked some random girl who did her hair because I loved it. I was referred to Nancy @ Van Strand. She does exactly what I want, FAST, and it's such a better deal. LOVE it, go go go! :-)
