+1 For the best gun shop in the Twin Cities. I got me a H&K P30 (9mm) for 750.00 out the door. Great prices and staffs..

This is a great gunshop. Looks small from the outside, but do they carry a selection !!! Prices are low retail, especially when comparing to Gander Mountain and others. Very nice people to deal with, as well. Highly recommended.

Definitely the best. I have purchased two from them and they are knowledgeable and helpful. And unlike other gun shops they don't carry guns while they work unlike other places. A big selection of single action pistols as well, which is what I go there for.

"unlike other gun shops they don't carry guns while they work"......... What does that got to do with the price of tea in china??!!

"unlike other gun shops they don't carry guns while they work" They probably should, because sooner or later some nutcase will walk in the door with a gun, and they will wish they were carrying. David, why on earth would you NOT carry your weapon, and why would you expect other law-abiding citizens to NOT exercise their right to do so???

They aren't carrying, but if you've ever glanced under the counter, they are not defenseless either. They also have an iron door with a remote lock and always have 2-3 guys on-hand. If someone was dumb enough to try something they would soon find themselves locked in the shop facing a group of guys that know they way around a gun. You would really have to be a nutcase to try anything in there!

Actually, I believe some of them do carry discretely. Open carry is just asking for trouble. The folks at Frontiersman are great. They are knowledgeable and they aren't trying to impress anyone. While open carry is understandable in a gun store, the yahoos at BGS seem like they go to work hoping that today will be the day they get to shoot someone. Frontiersman gets my business.
