I guess this is old, but what the heck is the difference.
I took my Broco II to the Lake street location.
I had acoupon for an oil change and a tuneup.
This was when you still had to get checked by the State for emissions.
My Bronco ran well when I took it in, but it was a good price, so I decided I could kill two birds with one stone.
So I went there to have both done, I figured that would Guarantee passing emission test.
Well!!! I took it in running fine. When I went to get it, it wouldn't start after warming up. They had charged me about $26.00 to replace a plug wire that they had broken themselves when doing the tuneup. They told me that all of a sudden I needed a new starter {this was in the winter, and I never had a problem starting the vehicle}, then they said I needed all new plug wires. Why didn't they install them all instead of charging me for one wire what a whole set would have cost at that time?
I went home, and everytime I tried to start it, I had to wait for it to cool down before it would start.
    I was worried because it was heating up, and I thought that maybe someone forgot to put oil plug back in. When I tried to check the oil, I found that there was no dip stick. Now I put some OIL in just in case. {I Didn't want to blow up my motor!!!!!}
I took my car back to their shop. I left it running, so that they could check it out. They found my dipstick.
The Manager went out to check it out, and stalled it in the driveway. Not being able to get it started again, he simply took one of his pushers and pushed it into the street. When it cooled down, I went home, and called the main office. A man came out, and once again tried to tell me that it was my starter. He also tried to make me feel sorry for him by telling me that he doesn't get paid for doing things like this. {LATER I FOUND OUT THAT THIS WAS THE OWNER OF "PRECISION TUNE".
I had a job in Blaine, and decided that maybe they were right when telling me I neede all new wires.
I stopped at "CHAMPIONS AUTO STORE" on Coon Rapids Boulevard and purchased a new set of wires. Went out in the Parking lot to change them so that it would start again. When I pulled one of the wires off, LO AND BEHOLD I ended up with a Spark Plug in my hand.
After replacing that plug by actually screwing it in.
I called the Precision Tune on Coon Rapids Boulevard, and he told me to bring it in.
i did that, and when he looked at it he found that four of the plugs were finger tight.
He did give me a "FREE" oil Change.
I then called the main Office to tell them what had happened, and that's when I found ou that the man who had come to my house was the owner of the whole Company.
HE TOLD ME, TOO BAD LIVE WITH IT.
    NEVER, NEVER AGAIN.

Good Service: I have taken my truck here on three separate occasions and have had some great service.
