The sauce is the victory-yielding trump card for this quaint barbecue roadhouse. It's much better than Famous Dave's or Roscoe's sauces (which mimic what you can buy at Wal-Mart). Yeah, at lunch time it is REALLY crowded and busy, but that's because it's DANG GOOD! This place is the best barbecue joint in Rochester, and the best barbecue joint in the Midwest.
Hands down.
This is the best BBQ in town. It's a little rough around the edges, but the food is delicious. The best thing to get there is the pork plates, with jo-jos and baked beans.
Unreal! The best BBQ I have ever tasted. It's not commercialized or flashy. The focus is on the food, and boy is it great. I live 2 hours away but sometimes you just got to have it! The first time I tried it was only about 2 years ago, after my friend finally dragged me in there after hyping it up. I am a skeptic and was pretty sure I would be disappointed. He had talked it up so much I thought nothing could live up to the raves. I was sold after the first bite. I would recommend it to anyone who likes real BBQ. The highlight of any trip to Rochester.
