It is re: kidney cysts which I recently found in exam here. I will bus from Madison,WI via Jefferson Busline to Rochester. I tried to phone you but could not get through-no one answered and it did not go to message either? I hope this will be directed to the right person? Thank you. Dorothy Day Hospitality House, Rochester, Minn.: Dorothy Day Hospitality House is not only for homeless persons seeking temporary assistance and shelter in Rochester. This Catholic Worker facility provides temporal sustenance to those who may just be visiting the Mayo Clinic and need a place to stay because they cannot afford a hotel. As Dorothy Day said, "Need knows no boundaries," or something like that. In any case, volunteer at Dorothy Day House and be a co-facilitator for one of the most important facilities in Rochester serving the underserved. Guests are in need of transportation to job interveiws and possible housing opportunities. Dorothy Day House receives funding and support entirely from the community and does not require assistance from the state or county, a rare occurrence as far as social service and human resources go. You will see the workings of Rochester's underbelly; how support, encouragement, and sacrifice are lived in the daily lives of those serving and those being served.
