User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI grew up in Austin. I used to eat at the Tendermaid. My friends and I would go there after school nearly every and on weekends too.
I have since moved to sunny southern California. I sure do miss being able to eat at the Tendermaid.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy wife was born and raised in Austin. Her mother and father used to go to Tendermaid on their lunch break from Hormel. The first time I visited Austin with her she introduced me to the Tendermaid loose meat sandwich. Every time we visit it is a must to go to Tendermaid.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe Best: I grew up in Austin. This type of hamburger is better than any patty type hamburger. The place is a landmark as much as The Paramount Theater is.
