User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBased on the childish, not grammatically correct review (as seen right below), I would not recommend the advice recommended. As an experianced dancer there for many years I can tell you this is the only place to learn how to dance in Albert Lea. I repeat, Just For Kix is a joke. If your goal is to be on dance team you should take classes there (I was also captain). It's never too late to begin, but I recommend starting young and sticking with it. It will definetely pay off! You learn more than dance there. Check out their winter concerts- which are always the Sunday after Thanksgiving. This year the show is at the Marion Ross Performing Arts Centre on Nov. 30th at 3 pm. See for yourself.

Ok I am not using my real name here. It is true Joyce is good at putting on her annual production ever May. I am not going to put her down she does do a good job. However parents before you decide to enroll your child be aware that I know for fact that joyce in her own words "does not like young kids" Joyce will not teach anyone under the age of 13 or so because she says herself they are not real dancers and she does not like them. She gets her elementary teachers to train them, but truthfully I actually like her teachers much more than her I beleive that I learned more from them and they were much more kind to me as well as the other students. I was in her accademy for 4 years until I quit because Joyce is a loose cannon so to speak. She is a larger woman (nothing against her for that) but truthfully speaking since she is bigger she cannot actually do the moves herself and when one of the students mess up she tends to blow up alot. She has real anger problems. I do understand that she only does this because she wants her students to look good butr I do not like her approach in doing it. Overall I would not recomend her program I would try something else like Just for Kix or something. However if you are into the more "professional" dance you could check her out if you are atleast 13 and have a strong backbone.

I love Joyce: Joyce inspired me so much. I took lessons their for fourteen years, and she helped make me the dancer & teacher that I am today. I love you, Joyce!!!
