Val's is absolutely THE BEST!

If you are traveling, to, through, by or anywhere near St. Cloud Minnesota...it is worh the effort to stop by this little burger shack on the corner of Lincoln Street and St. Germain Ave just a couple of blocks West of Hwy 10.

It is take-out only, everything is made-to-order, the burgers are great and the fries are the best ever!

My 4 year-old daughter rates it even higher than McDonalds...and that is huge!

Definately a drive-in, not a place to stay and sit down. The fries are sensational, the burgers were good, loved the pickles diced up like they were. I had a cappicino shake which I really enjoyed. They have a clever way of getting your order, you put your order in on one of several screens inside and even prepay on it if your charging. If you've never been to Val's before, it's tiny, it's on the corner and don't blink or you'll miss it.

Wow..a place you must visit when in St. Cloud. Its just a small little burger shop but it has so much to offer from its friendly staff to the huge spots of grease left behind on the white meal bag to the grease running down your chin....and maybe your clothes.

I love the touchscreen ordering system. fast, easy, and now they have put even more touchscreens in for faster service for everyone. and you can customize your order with the push of a button. the people who work there are great and friendly..if you're a regular they always remember your name. even if you've only come in a few times, they always remember you, giving a friendly smile and wave.

FOOD:
The sandwiches are tasty. you must try the fish sandwich, its wonderful!..unlike the mcdonalds fish sandwich which is floppy and smushed and probably sat in a heater for 3 hours before being slapped on a pile of tartar sauce before being given to you. The burgers at Vals are made to order = fresh! the shakes are delicious and they have a wide variety of flavors. they give you a generous portion of fries. they'll give you your order of fries and then add an extra scoop, everytime. its like a 2 for 1.
