Ashby equity is a bad company to deal with.

I am a 48 state truck driver by trade and am out on the road for 6 weeks at a time.

Last year they force filled my propane tank WITHOUT my permission .This fill occured while I was on the road So I have no idea when it happened.

When I got home in Sept I saw the bill and called them. They gave me the impression that my wife had Ok'd the fill,SO I paid it with a credit card and got charged a surcharge by them. I then asked about a winter contract, SINCE I did not have a copy in my pocession. I specifically asked if this was set price contract like the one they had offered last year. I had refused to buy that one. I was assured that if the price went down below the contract price of 2.25 a gal, that I would get the lower price. So I bought the contract for 800 gallons.
MY wife was unavailable to confirm that she had authorized the fill of our tank and I had to leave for my next 6 week run on the road. When I returned I found out that my wife had not authorized the fill so I called and asked for a refund,That was refused. I then asked about the so called winter contract and found out it was the same set price contract as offered the prior year. SO I WAS LIED TO 2 TIMES NOW.. Mr johnson and I went round and round a few times and lawsuit was stated and I called discover card and challenged off the charge. This cause mr johnson to send a registered letter stating his intent to pull our tank. I went to ferrell gas and hired them. and had ashby's tank pulled and set aside.
Ashby came and took their tank and never left a receipt,even thought the tank contained 55% of fuel.
they then lied to discover card and stated they never got their tank back and deserved to be paid. and discover gave them back their money.

Now MR johnson has had held off refunding my fuel as he knows my intent is to sue for the bad faith winter contract. He has stated that I can sue him for everything as I refuse to accept the 10 cent a gallon discount he wants to surcharge me for the unused fuel. THE fuel I never ordered, but he wants to offer a discounted price refund as he says thats his contract agreement with me.

IE he set the stage to rip me off using his contract terms to his advantage.

These people are crooks. They want to force their customers to pay for their bad business choices.
