User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBest bar in Brainerd. By far the, the nicest with flat screens and sports memorabilia covering the walls. Very Clean. Shep is a blast. It is always fun when he is working. Glad to be an Elbow Member!
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBe an Elbow!: The Loyal Order of Elbows is the unofficial club to join at Shep's. Being an Elbow Member is fun, free and has lots of 'perks'! From free drinks, to comraderie, the benefits are endless. You can even run for Grand Elbow!
Members are encouraged to lift an elbow in the "Elbow Salute" when entering and leaving the bar, this being shorthand for "hello", "goodbye" and "good to see you!" (among other friendly greetings). But, don't lift both of them! That privelege is reserved only for Grand Elbows and Former Grand Elbows. Anyone else seen giving the 'double elbow salute' will be required to buy the bar a round!
Elbow members are issued an unofficial official membership card with their personal Elbow Number (we're well over 12,000!) as well as a genuine Shep's on Sixth Pen. Remember that number, kids, because if you can recite it to the bartender, he or she may give you a free drink! Elbow members are also encouraged to sign in whenever they frequent the place, as a number is drawn each and every night for another great prize!
Being an Elbow truly makes you 'one of the cool kids'.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSheps: Sheps is the place to go in Brainerd, if you enjoy friendly people and sports. Shep has a ton of sports themes covering the walls. From Jerseys to Nascar doors, Sheps has a little for everyone. The place also has TV's everywhere, including the restroom, so you never miss a play. The bartenders are top notch, and there is also an unofficial club you can join, that i believe is over 10000 members. If you make it there please say hello to Mogi. He will be the big guy behind the bar who knows everything about everthing just ask him.

God, we all went up for girls weekend and had a BLAST!!! We all became members and we are proud of it.(#13425) Shep is great fun, so outgoing we felt like we were one of the regulars. Thanks for the good times. XOXO The girls from Bayport MN
