User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsCamping by the sea: Being new to the east coast, I wanted to check out the seashore. So, I planned a camping trip for me and some friend on Assateague. What a beautiful place! Our days were spent hanging out on the beach with the wild ponies that roam the island, hiking around the walking trails, and exploring the surrounding area by bike. The camp sites were clean and cold water showers were available. Great for the summer time! I will be going back this year and I can not wait! It is a great place for a day trip too. The beaches are awesome.
