User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsOur experience last night was decent. The casino is really crowded. Barely room to move through out the croud. All you really can smell is smoke. More air going throught the place would of been great. Good promotion last night for new members to the players club. We got $20 a piece to play on only certain games and a free buffet. I do not suggest using your buffet after midnight. The food was rather hard and taste old except the breakfast portion. We took advantage of the free shuttle service to our hotel that was a bonus. Nice selection of games. By the way, need to improve on customer service in the buffet. My husband drink was filled but not mine. They took his plates but not mine? That seemed a little crazy. lol.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starshad fun: the games was fun. sights was great. food was above ; it could be the best if only do away with the steam cooking of seafood; steam takes out the fish oil and thats the good oil we humans need, it also tast better to boil shrimp than steam. thank you. bill
User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsOnly because there's no other choice!: Most of us locals visit (mainly to eat) because there are no better choices in the area. This does NOT mean it's good. The food in most of the restaurants is adequate, but, the atmosphere on the game floor is horrid! The Silver Star is much more cramped than the "real" casinos on the coast. Luckily there is a slightly better alternative right across the road. Save yourself the trouble... drive up to the valet parking at the Golden Moon.

I find the music is too loud at Silver Star. It will drive you crazy.
My Parents and I was on a family Reunion vication this weekend and My Mom and Dad went the Silverstar casino to have a fun night out, not expecting to get rich or to be taken advantage of. To their suprise My Mother was ripped off in this casino, she sit down to play a slot machine when soon after a Lady came up and said "You stole my money off this machine. My Mother has never stole anything a day in her life. This incident made our vacation a trip from hell. Why would anyone leave a slot machine with money still in it. This was just another way to prey on the elderly and the casino manager and security went alone with it and took my Moms money and escorted her out of the casino. Where is the love for our fellow Man or Woman.
