| About: | Forest-dwelling fish decorate the mural on the back patio and that is an excellent indicator of the whimsy and fun to be found at Primo Patio Cafe popular with students, professionals and pretty much everyone else in the city. The cuisine is Caribbean with a dash of Pacific Rim and while the breakfasts are good, it is the lunch and dinner that draw. Find great jerked chicken, hot and sweet beef, chicken and pork barbecue all brought to you by a friendly wait staff. Specialty drinks include the potent, and currently very hip, Mojito as well as Buli Buli, a concoction of Cuban beer, lime juice, sugar and ice. |

The food is almost always overcooked, the jerk chicken was fatty chewy and over seasoned. The only reason this place is still open is location and cheap prices. When you walk by the kitchen on the way to your table you can clearly see the less than clean working conditions.
I gave this place three chances and each meal was worse than the last.
The Service was fast and the food had excellent flavor and spices. I would recommend it to all of my friends.......

Primos is really good: Very unique, tasty dishes. The owner (who you can tell really cares about the quality of the food) is on the ball. I wish there was one in Russian Hill. It is close to work for me so I get there at least once a week.
Great value as well.
