I had my first Mr. G's experience my sophomore year in high school, after riding with my dad down to Demopolis to service some of their equipment. My dad worked for Pepsi since before I was born and seemed to know all the good spots. The food was great and the portions were huge, even for a growing 15 year old. Time went on and I forgot about the experience.
Years later, I ended up dating and eventually marrying a girl from Demopolis who reintroduced me to Mr. G's. The portions are still great for the money and the food is still good. I've even been to the one in Northport and I'm praying that maybe one day they'll build one 50 miles away in Selma....so me and the wife won't have to drive an hour to get our fix. 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsYou Have To Try It!!!: I was born and raised in Demopolis and I have always loved Mr Gs. As a teenager we would go all the time. My husband and I were in town renewing our wedding vowes and I introduced him to the Mr. Gs experience. He loved it. Now evertime I come home he wants me to bring him a Poor Boy Sandwich. If you're ever in Demopolis check out Mr. Gs. They are even located in Northport, Alabama.
