I have eaten breakfast here twice, and both times I was unimpressed. I didn't plan on going back after the first time, but I thought I'd give it another shot and it was even worse. We sat for 10 minutes before even getting a menu or drinks offered, and once we got the menus it was another 15-20 mins before she came back for our order. Country fried potatoes were ROCK HARD, the quiche was stone cold, the yogurt was sour... They took the quiche away to "reheat" it - almost 30 minutes later it came back. Poor service; staff apparently not interested in pleasing anyone. The only good thing about it is the old building. And having a look at the eclectic collection of trinkets throughout.
I don't recommend eating here! Too expensive for what you get.
Incredibly snotty atmosphere, if you like that kind of a place, then go.. I have never experienced such a negative place like Burnt Toast. They didnt care that we sat at a table for an hour and they hadnt put our order in yet... it was fun trying to get anyones attention to even get coffee served. Good Luck!
Worst experience ever!: The atmosphere was the only thing enjoyable about my experience at Burnt Toast. The wait staff was unattentive and cool mannered. The strawberry ginger pecan pancakes that I ordered were 'accidently' cooked with a huge piece of lox in them. The yogurt in the granola/berry parfait was sour and the meal was not even offered to be compensated for. Bottom line: stear clear, spend your money some where else!
