User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWe went to this chili's in Lakeland and the service was awful to say the least. We were seated and after that we waited 20 minutes, no service whatsoever. The waitresses completely ignored us like we didn't exist which completely aggravated me. Then to my astonishment they waited on the group beside us that came after we were already seated for 10 min. I would not recommend this restaurant at all unless you have all day to waste.

Chili's is usually one of my more favorite of these types of restaurants (except when you order a burger, and they ask "How would you like it cooked?", only to tell you that WELL-DONE is the only way you can actually have it), but this one in Lakeland seems to have a policy of, if they're out of an ingredient for a dish ordered, serve it to them anyway and hope they don't notice. The server knows that they are out of blue cheese, for example, but still puts a plate in front of you, hoping you don't notice that your Blue Cheese Bacon Burger doesn't actually have a bit of blue chesse on it. This has happened enough now to prove that it's their policy. They also don't have a problem charging you for the blue cheese that you did not consume. Beyond that, they just don't seem to care if the food is cold, hot, stale, whatever. This happened to Bennigan's, the last year they were in business.
User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGreat Chips and Salsa: I like the convenience of Chili's being so close to our office. Our favorite is chips and salsa. The last time we went for lunch, our server was sensitive to our time and did a great job in getting us out of there. The food was great!
