This restaurant is the ONLY place in the metro area that has everything. The food is beyond compare...the bar provides libations that no other restaurant in the Twin Cities can equal. The ceilings are at least 100 feet high and provide the diners with a feeling of spaciousness that makes the dining experience the best there is in the metro area.
The host/hostess will make you feel great from the moment you arrive and they all have been very cognizant of exactly where you are when waiting for a table...which is usually only fifteen minutes or less. Be sure to try the "maytag" blue cheese salad which, in my opinion, is the very best salad at ANY restaurant in the Twin Cities.
This place is expensive. However, it is well worth the price for special occasions. It is difficult to leave when your dining experience is over for the evening. And, by the way, their lunch menu is also fabulous.
OMG. The BEST burger of my life was eaten today. I ordered a Chop House Burger following the advice of a friend and I can not explain its deliciousness and delectable flavor. I don't know how they do it but I will be returning for another.
Kincaid's is certainly one of the best business lunch restaurants in the Twin Cities area. Personally, I have probably had over 25 business lunches at the Bloomington Kincaid's and am yet to have a bad experience. The wait staff is extremely professional and the food (especially seafood) is second only to Oceannaire in the Twin Cities.
The dinners are also very good at Kincaid's, but based on their location (office park), they seem to be better known with the lunch crowd.
The bar is also one of my favorite restaurant bars of the Twin Cities. They have a great drink selection, excellent appetizers, and very well-priced lunch menu.
